Monster

A poem

Polar bears follow in the footsteps amidst

this floating orbit, the ball that moves in

silence.

Roman numerals carved on stone; wild.

As time travelled, unraveled her scrolls,

endangering species through obtuse mild defiance.

Running away with Bigfoot and the Loch Ness giant.

If monsters exist, what else are we hiding?

Perhaps, the real monster is the creature

residing.
