Monster

Who would have thought?

By JAMRPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Singing together in the park

Feeling like we could float in the sky

And then you decided to throw those memories to trash

to broke my heart and leaving without saying goodbye

But I don't want you back

What I want you to give me back is all my wasted time

I gave you kind words and you gave me caresses stained with lies

What kind of monster does that?

It was the most beautiful night that I ever had

Never thought that it was with a monster with who I shared that night

Amazing! This poem reflects the betrayal of a person whom you loved once. But instead of love, he returned spikes and betrayal that can be seen through your poem. Calling him a 'MONSTER' is quite a confident thing to say. I liked your poem ✨✔ Keep it up <3 You can read mine too, I wrote a poem 'The Day I die' That's also about a 'betrayer'.
