Monday Night, Final Flight

A 9/11 tribute

Top Story - September 2025

As the days went by and as the evenings pass.

Many didn’t know the night of September 10th would be their last.

Some had dinner with their families or a night out with friends.

Completely unaware that the next morning would be the end.

On that Monday night nothing seemed wrong or out of place.

Didn’t realize Tuesday morning would be the last time I saw your face.

Men, women and children went to sleep not feeling anything strange.

Unaware that their deaths of the morning would make the world change.

The time to take flight in the sky had come around.

Hundreds were going up not knowing they weren’t coming down.

A veteran stepped up to go and defend the towers.

Unknowingly preparing for the enemy coming to end the towers.

Think about it hard when you go to sleep tonight.

Think deep tonight. Treasure the moment and maybe you’ll be alright.

Make the most of every minute. That’s what we all should do.

Live life to the fullest as if every moment belongs to you.

Truth. No one knows when their last day is. Everyone who died today had plans for tomorrow. We should all live each day to the fullest.
