Today
The world feels jagged
Rough
Hard
Chilly

Today
My eyes feel heavy
Itchy
Tic
Tic

When I give in
Shut them
My bed calls to me
She serenades me
Soft
Warm
Welcoming
+
How sweet it would be
To fold back in to her embrace
Cocooned against these jagged edges
And say
No thank you
Not today

Thank you for reading!

love the interesting style it it was written in and I love how you wrote the bed serenades you 😂 because it's true and a awesome way of putting it down.
Oh this is so relatable but you worded it in a breathtaking way. So well done!

I love your creativity and originality. It is works like this that make you stand out above the rest.
Why does the bed feel more inviting on a Monday morning? Its like a hug you do not want to leave. I love this line and I can relate: When I give in Shut them My bed calls to me She serenades me Soft Warm Welcoming +
