My blood flows like
molten lava
coursing through my
quickened heart
the strings quiver
searing my senses
dripping onto my mind
my trembled voice
whispers in my ear
and silence grips my
soul as the echoes
listen for the
echoes of
a word
a song
a sigh
a sign.
