Methylenedioxymethamphetamine is the drug known as MDMA, or Molly. It was originally called the Club Drug, because it was popular in clubs. It is not harmless, having some very serious side effects, and not every user knows that they have been given the drug. It is commonly not pure, but mixed with other drugs such as Caffeine, Methamphetamine, Ketamine, Cocaine, Cathinones.

- Slang for using Ecstasy or describing someone who does it: Drop, Double Drop, Thizzing, Flip or Flipping Roll, Rolling, Cuddle Puddle, E-Puddle, E-tard, Raver, Raving.
The delivery system for Molly is by gel capsule, pills, tablets, powder, crystal, and liquid. It can be crushed or snorted and also smoked. It can be put in alcohol or mixed drinks to mask the bitterness, and shots would be an easy way to slip it to someone. It is also used as a suppository. The drug produces euphoria, feelings of empathic closeness, heightened sexuality, enhanced enjoyment of tactile experiences, significant sexual arousal.

This drug takes effect in as little as 15-20 minutes and the effects can last from 4-8 hours, with it being detectable by blood, urine for up to 5 days,depending on the dose, and in saliva for 48 hours. The comedown time can take up to 2 weeks.
