Traveling gypsy,
quite tipsy…
on creative juice.
Goofy truce,
instruments strum,
voices hum.
Baggy pants swish;
an odd potluck rests in familiar porcelain dishes.
The RV barrels down the interstate.
People’s attention, never to satiate.
The moving stage rolls and thunders,
making passerby’s all gawk and wonder.
Going all around the country to explore,
entertainment, laughter to implore.
Gypsy troupe,
but more honest and not quick to others, dupe.
They sang or played for their every dollar
and steered clear of messes and any squalor.
They free flowed in, with a bow,
and they slipped into the night without a vow.
