"Why does it always rain on me? Is it because I lied when I was seventeen? Why does it always rain on me? Even when the sun is shining, I can’t avoid the lightning" — Travis
Drenching drizzle,
Scotch mist kiss
Bleak, stark, dismal dark
Dreary drab
Drizzly deluge
Heavy heart
Drenched refuge
Desolate downpour
Dreary tarp sky
Splashed with fog
grim, tragic smog
Gritty mist
Driving drops
Mizzle rain
Weeping drain
A hankering ache
Stormy doom
Gloomy days
A dreary room
A melancholy phase
Bleak, wet winters
desperate, miserable,
hopeless grey
Cats and dogs
Blustery sprinkle
Savage showers
Dribble drips twinkle

Could you suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)? The Mayo Clinic says:
“Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that’s related to changes in seasons — seasonal affective disorder (SAD) begins and ends at about the same times every year. If you’re like most people with SAD, your symptoms start in the fall and continue into the winter months, sapping your energy and making you feel moody. These symptoms often resolve during the spring and summer months. Less often, SAD causes depression in the spring or early summer and resolves during the fall or winter months.
Treatment for SAD may include light therapy (phototherapy), psychotherapy, and medications.
Don’t brush off that yearly feeling as simply a case of the “winter blues” or a seasonal funk that you have to tough out on your own. Take steps to keep your mood and motivation steady throughout the year.”

Beautiful poem! My dear friend used to suffer from it, now he just takes Saint John's Wart tincture every year and he does not have any issues with it any more. Herbs are the original medicine 💚🌿
