Mistakes

Reminiscing through childhood memories

All the adventures of my youth

I would trade almost anything

To go back when i was two

I would do it all different

Change up aspects that I'd be defined

Alter certain things of who I am

My decisions that hurt deep down inside

Mistakes made by ignorance

Mishaps that shouldn't of happened

Take all the tears from crying

and turn them into tears of laughing

All those nights of anger

Could be times of joy

Today i could stand a proud man

Instead of feeling like a boy

Even though my past is past

I can still do something for the best

That's learn from my mistakes

Its only too late after my last breath

About the Creator

Thomas F

I was shot in the face at point blank range with a double barrel 12 gage during an strong arm robbery that quickly turned into an Attempted Murder. Although I'm missing my right eye and a bullet in my brain. I AM STILL ME & I AM STILL HERE
