If Only I Could Hear Your Voice Once Again

I hope that you can hear me through the stars,

As I spill out what is inside my heart,

As I pour myself a cup of coffee and

Sit in this lonely room tonight.

I still feel you here, everywhere in this room;

I feel your touch, your warmth, your heart beating

Strong.

I think I hear you singing our song;

I turn around and cry because I

realize that you're gone.

If only I could hear your voice again,

Would it sound the same?

If only I could feel the warmth of your heart,

Would it dull this never-ending pain?

It's lonely in this room,

But I see you, smiling back at me

Through the moon.

If only I could hear your voice again,

Would it dull this never-ending pain?

But you're not here to answer,

And all I feel in my heart,

Is the rhythm of never-ending rain.
