MISSING WORK
Photo by Ivy Barn on Unsplash

During the pandemic

Shits been crazy

Times getting hectic

People being lazy

This ain’t no gimmick

Believe me and trust me

I ain’t scared to say It

Missing work on a daily

Getting up for work early morning with a purpose

Now look at me sitting home looking nervous

Too many clowns online like It’s a circus

Rather be at work carry on with the service

Keep piling up my paper and wait for my purchase

Might cop a little heat like out of the furnace

Even with 50 cents I’ll be shining like Curtis

Important to stay alive than end up as carcass

I’m cool and clean as you rub on the surface

I’m royal like a mint as I lay these verses

My temperature getting high go get the nurses

Before It’s too late as I lay down helpless

Work Is what I’m missing till I end up careless

Can’t Imagine how It Is on a daily endless

Take my shine off my work like a diamond necklace

Can’t Imagine how I’ll be If my head was neck less

I’m missing my 9 to 5 or I’ll end up reckless

My rhymes I can thrive on without having breakfast

Too many rhymes In my head, won’t be headless

My head Is Intact so forget getting Infectious

Need this over with I won’t quit relentless

Add less to the word sense cos It’s senseless

Waiting to go back man and enjoy regardless

The smile on my face will be absolutely priceless
