Missing Molly

I Think About Her Every Day

By Angela Denise Fortner RobertsPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

She was just eleven years old

The last time I saw her

I hugged her and said goodbye

And then she left

She's much taller now

She graduates high school this year

I wonder what her voice sounds like now

I'm sure she sounds

A lot more grown up

We used to Skype

A long time ago

I would wait all week

For a chance to talk with her

I was always so eager

To find out

What was going on

In her life

Months passed, then years

Now she's all grown up

I wish she thought about me sometimes

I wish she missed me

I wish she wanted

To see me again

All I can do is dream

And hope that someday

I will see her again
