Mirrors in Motion
The words you speak, the way you stand,
The kindness offered with an open hand,
The anger flung like stones at night,
All are windows to your inner light.
The hurried frown, the bitter tone,
The gaze that cuts to flesh and bone—
They do not bloom from empty air;
They sprout from seeds you're growing there.
A soul at peace moves soft and slow,
It plants warm gardens where it goes.
A heart at war will leave behind
Fields of ash and broken minds.
You cannot mask it with a smile,
Not fool the world for very long;
The truth will leak through every mile,
Through every whispered word and song.
For actions are reflections true,
Of battles lost or love renewed;
The outer world a painted skin,
Of storms or suns that rage within.
So tend your spirit like a flame,
Feed it hope and not just blame;
For every step, for every cry,
Reveals the world you hold inside.
