Mirror in the sky,

Who am I?

what can I do

When I’m in love?

Fearful of the way things will be,

trusting the steps.

If I did what I want

Why do I feel so scared?

***

What if they aren’t as true

The game more enticing

Then the gains,

A promise of more

Who am I?

***

Safe and comfortable

Sitting on the sidelines

Or bold and brash

Moving without a care

***

Mirror mirror

Even the fairest

Can’t hold the limelight forever

***

Maybe everything with be okay

And all it takes

Is two words

I do.

That's a great and beautiful poem. Nice describing fear of committment or even fear of the unknown to come.
