you remind me of just how powerful I truly am.
i look at you and not only feel at peace, but vibrate with...is it excitement? anticipation?
who could ever know...
you enclose me in your never ending embrace and there...there is where i find home.
how you shine on my skin, make others endure the strike in my eyes and stance, and demand my spine to stand taller.
in myself, in my healing, in my unshakable hold of the truth.
that’s what sets us free, isn’t it?
is it not the coolness of the hue and the vastness of its depth that, for once, makes us stand with conviction?
