Land of the Free Means Free to Leave

By Earl W. PearlPublished 2 years ago Updated 2 years ago 1 min read

It’s funny how so many say, “How great it is we’re free”

But even if attacked today, those people quickly flee

If even there’s a candidate who’s views they do not share

They say they’ll go to Canada, as though they’re welcome there

Our youth today don’t even vote, but live to piss and moan

Their cell phones and their PlayStations are all they’ve ever known

And why are we called “racists” if a wall protects us more

The Chinese and the Russians have to LOVE this “open door”

THEIR kids are learning science and how best to conquer us

We’re teaching kids their gender issues are somehow a plus

If every other nation can control who enters in

Then why can’t we do likewise, tell me, when can this begin

And how will adding gun laws lead to social flawlessness

When all these wicked shooters tend to practice lawlessness

We’ve got people now in Congress who despise the U.S.A.

These socialists within who shouldn’t EVER have a say

So listen all you people teasing you will disappear

If you don’t like this country, tell me, why are you still here

To those who take offense to these opinions of my own

Remember what you promised, we’ll do better here alone

Our youth today don't even vote. I gotta agree with that! Powerful poem!
