I am waiting on the common sense of America
For the blind ignorance of some to end
In ‘Merica, a county run by the bigotry of a few
The common sense and love of the many cannot seem to shine
Nevertheless, it needs to shine
To show those that fuel the flames of hate and are fueled by hate
They are not in control
They are the minority
A world full of those that live a life of love and compassion
The love of humankind will not stand for hatred
We will overcome
We will stand as one and collectively say "No more"
Hatred of the few will no longer reign
‘Merica will be no more
We are the true America
