Mellifluous Is The Sound

(poem in progress)

By Stephanie McNuttPublished 3 years ago 1 min read
abstract 1.23(A view through)

Mellifluous must have been the sound

of honey sweet words

dripping over creation.

Golden light piercing dark's void.

And it was tov.

It was very tov.

A mess of color and sound sprouting

from the fertile ground

of every color

my pallet has ne'er found.

And it was tov.

It was very tov.

Then the wind in whispering sound

is the breath in the lungs of man,

from Him, who with

mellifluous words

brought forth eyes to see that,

It was tov.

It was very tov.
