Melancholic Night

The promise of a tomorrow where loneliness gives up.

By Eduarda RodriguesPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

In the dimness of abandonment, where hope fades,

The tears of the moon fall, intertwined with sadness.

The cold heart throbs, echoing loneliness,

A tragic poem, a verse without redemption.

In the nocturnal silence, melancholy spreads,

Stars mourn longings in a failed dance.

The moon, a silent witness of desolation,

Reflects deep pain, the sad consternation.

Among empty streets, whispers of farewell,

The lament of abandonment weaves a wound.

In the light of flickering lanterns in the darkness,

Loneliness composes its own song.

In the heart of the night, where the soul gets lost,

The reflection of sadness merges into shadows.

Lonely paths, traced without direction,

In the score of abandonment, loneliness has its song.

In closed windows, the lost gaze wanders,

Reflecting the pain that entwines and burns the soul.

In the song of solitude, there's a sad melody,

A profound lament, where the soul persists.

But even in darkness, a beam of light persists,

The promise of a tomorrow where loneliness gives up.

Thank you for taking the time to read it.
