My ’Identity’ challenge

For 35 years, I was born and ready to be expected in the world.
Every time I looked at myself in the mirror or the home videos, I asked myself: ‘Is that me?”

Then, someone called my name - ‘Meghan!” ‘Hey, Meghan look at the camera!”

That is me…

In reality, I always looked at my hands and feet- it felt like I was a cameraman the entire time- all day and all night long.

The problem is that I have been troubled to identify myself since I was a toddler… It took me years to accept me for who I am.

In this world, it wasn't so easy.

The beauty, the society, the community, the art, the connection, the empowerment, the communication, and the strength.

I know I still have a long road to major progress even my own identity can be nonlinear with many flaws.

I met so many people who truly see me as a kind, unique, talented, and beautiful human being.

I know compliments are not very easy— at least I am doing my best…

I am still progressing to seeing myself as who I am deeply…

Yes, I am Meghan...
