“Health does not always come from medicine.
Most of the time
it comes from peace of mind,
peace in the heart,
peace in the soul.
It comes from laughter and love”
We live in a world
where medicine answers all of the health issues.
A pill to fix that headache,
we all know ‘the drill’.
However,
attitudes are slowly changing.
The emphasis is becoming more
on helping ourselves
then relying on manmade medicine.
Don’t get me wrong,
medicine saves lives
and the doctors and nurses
are ‘miracle-workers’!
But we can “help ourselves” too.
A positive spirit keeps the mind more peaceful,
and the more tranquil our minds are,
the calmer our bodies are.
Giving ourselves time to rest and ‘heal’,
and filling our days with love and laughter,
will give us that peace of mind
which will keep our bodies ‘peaceful’.
There is nothing wrong
with giving medicine
a ‘helping hand’ too.
Our everyday health will improve
if we prioritize our self-care,
every single day.
