This will be a series of poems that deal with all nursing education.

The first is very general.

Medication;

M is for medicine, of course,

E is for emergency care,

D is for drugs used,

I is for instruction on use of,

C is for caring communication between nurse and patient,

A is for anxiety at times,

T is for time to understand 'Why?',

I is for intelligence and intuition,

O is for the opportunity to get well.

N is for nurse at work,

and

T is for tricks of the trade,

R is for restorative,

E is for emergent needs,

A is for action required,

T is for teaching how to, if possible,

M is for measurements,

E is for educating of the signs when help needed,

N is for need,

T is for thank you.
