Meadow’s Love

Poem…

By Taimoor Hassan AlviPublished 3 years ago 1 min read
(Man Walking In meadows)…

In the meadow, the grasses sway

A gentle breeze carries them away

The sun shines bright, the birds sing gay

And there he stands, as if to say:

He falls in love with the meadow fair

With flowers blooming everywhere

But as he turns, his heart doth dare

To gaze upon a beauty rare

For there she stands, amidst the field

A vision pure, a love revealed

Her hair, a halo, her eyes, a shield

And in that moment, all is sealed

He walks towards her, heart afire

His passion, true, he can't deny her

And as he stands, his heart's desire

He whispers softly, "You, I admire"

They stand together, in the meadow bright

Two hearts entwined, in love's delight

And as they dance, under the sunlight

They know that love, is their true plight

For in the meadow, love can grow

Like flowers blooming, and rivers flow

And in that love, they'll forever know

The beauty of the meadow's glow.
