Which is the real me
The one they see
Or the one I see when you’re looking at me
Distorted images in my mind
Having never known what I look like to the world
To me
A creature that only exists in my mind
There will never be a way to see
The me that others see
No matter how much make-believe
I have to trust what they say is true
And see the value in me
Not the frame that society has put around me to believe
