I stand here in the middle,

Confused and lost on track.

Do I have a right to speak,

Or should I shut my mouth?

They fought for U.S rights -

The whole World did, at times.

Now think at least twice,

Before your mind sounds out.

Look around before you speak,

Check the news before you think.

Make sure you don’t speak of God

Make sure you don’t speak of faith

In this world, be who you wish,

In this world, make feelings loud.

In this world, dress how you choose,

In this world, do what feels proud.

As long as you don’t stick to old,

As long as you don’t disagree,

As long as you don’t pray too much,

As long as you’re not conservative.
