Match, Fire, A#!

Mental Health Poetry 9

By FRANK? PiccolellaPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Check your pockets, I need a Matchbox to strike up a conversation.

Can't quite get out of this Mess, Been grindin far too long.

Time to leave my comfort zone and my station, Far too long have I stayed here I confess.

Arise, Inside. I awaken my inner self. Let me know what I've been shown.

I made my bed. I refuse to sleep in it though.

The fire needs to burn bright to grow. Time to gain your insight.

Strike! Scratch the surface of inner demons, take flight.

Arise, Inside. Light that match, start that fire under your ass.
