as now twelve months pile up, and we both pause to take
note of the furnishings–good, bad,
neutral–
in the conjectural house where we work, sleep, and yes dream so
vividly,
even while hoping to fashion one dream (or two?) towards
reality,
sit we here again to share the full course together
and with bated hearts
reach for yet one more round, plateful, menu: another
year

I loved the concept of being together for the years to come being on the menu! So creative!
