For me, this poem is a message that speaks to the superficial construct of the ceremony/festivities itself, and calls on those who choose this path to go deeper. Examine beyond the superficial stuff to what it's really all about because the divorce lawyers can afford second and third condos with the amount of business rolling in.
so pure
Great use of the senses Mariann, win, lose and start again. Rough indeed.
Nice take on the challenge
Loved those last two lines
Ohh this was beautiful! Incredibly done! 💌
Brilliantly constructed & powerful! Very well done!!
Gosh you packed a hugeeeee punch in so few words! Well done!
Quite a shocking and abrupt twist to something that should last forever.
Sounds like a doomed marriage with a relieved when they divorce.
