With each breath

We take one step closer

To it all being over

Not over over

But the end of our world as we know it

A new and uncharted era

Of terror

With hope at the end

A blonde haired man triggered the end

But not all is lost

Our future just came at great cost

Your words eloquently express the delicate balance between despair and hope, which deeply resonates with the uncertainties of our time. The mention of "terror" alongside "hope" highlights the duality of human existence—where every end brings with it the seed of a new beginning. The reference to the "blonde-haired man" who triggered this end adds a layer of mystery, symbolizing a pivotal figure whose actions have determined the direction of the future. Yet, amidst this chaos, the poem reassures us that not everything is lost; the future, though achieved at great cost, still holds the potential for renewal. It reflects deeply on change, something we fear but also know is inevitable, reminding us that there is light even in darkness. I'll take the time to read more of your works.
