Mystic moonlight and starry skies

Breathe me in and I come alive

I feel its light a million miles away

It’s the only thing that ever stays.

Stay with me even beyond the trees

You are so calming to my anxiety

I see your smile in the October glow

Wishing for you to never go.

Even at times when you are a sliver

Your love for me never withers

You stay up there and sing your song

I thank the universe you came along

At times you are as dark as night

It’s times like these I pray for light

You always come back; never too soon

My beautiful and bright man in the moon.
