Mama America was very beautiful in her young days
Oh, but how pain and hardship has made her age.
She has watched her children suffer
At the cruel words and hands of one another.
Many of America's children make her proud
As they learn to escape the ominous cloud
Of bias, self-hatred, and sin
To discover the brilliance of God's Spirit within
Children of America, you need to rethink
Your life's language and listen to your Father speak
His words of salvation and peace
Granting you a treasure that you will never have to seek.
