Make Me an Audience
Sometimes, creativity feels like shouting into an empty room — hoping someone, somewhere, is listening.
I sit on a crippled chair, barely steady on all fours.
It creaks and groans, but no one listens.
Just like the author who never sees the sun,
yet still wishes upon tiny stars
for a wish that never comes.
And the question lingers:
“Why does someone need someone else to become someone great?”
It doesn't matter how creative, artistic, or brilliant you are.
Without an audience,
we are just the whining chair that protests
but is never heard.
"Make me an audience."
Pen drop.
