For the memories we share,
The times we showed we cared,
The distance that lead us to wanting to be around each other
In some way being connected while far apart,
Looking back to the start
Who knew we would end up here
In this moment, these feelings
Influenced by human nature
Natural ways of being as one
In each other’s company
Yet if for a moment of trying to guess
“What would happen next?”
You’d never really guess it
Regardless of how things may seem
Our timeless mind state to how it’s going to be
Not for a second or a chance
It would of came this far
Trying to make sense of it
To the point where it’s making it seem crazy
Who knew
Your soul may fly
Your heart may feel
Your mind may wonder
Pondering over small things
Until the last moment
Sometimes not a chance to say what you really want to
That came from deep within
Make each moment count
Speak from the heart
Let your soul connect
Educate the mind
And most of all be happy in life
Be with those who genuinely love and care for you.
