Make Every Place Your Home
Overcome the discomfort of different

From downtown LA to Irvine Orange County we moved in ‘22
That was the year that my incredible husband and I stood up and said I do.
We had no children yet, but to me, the change environment was a shock
Nothing about it felt like home, and I was even fearful of taking our dog on a walk!
Unpacking our boxes with tearful eyes, with no idea how I’d survive,
Though now this is truly my comfort, refuge, and home- there’s nowhere I feel more alive!
In 2025 we welcomed our child into the world, and on our morning walks we bond,
With beautiful scenery and jovial neighbors of whom I’ve grown truly fond!
Its been a while since I’ve felt such an overwhelming sense of camaraderie and unity,
I am beyond grateful that we took this plunge to move and found our community!
Nothing is constant except for change as Heraclitus once aptly said,
So fear not the initial discomfort of different- evolve, adapt, and march on ahead.
