In the verdant fields of the forest fair,
There roams a creature beyond compare,
With iridescent plumes so bright and rare,
The peacock's beauty beyond compare.
A regal display of feathers grand,
From sapphire blue to emerald strand,
Each quill a stroke of nature's hand,
In hues so bright they seem to command.
With tail feathers fanned in full array,
The peacock struts in a proud display,
Dancing to the rhythm of the day,
In majestic plumes that never sway.
Its graceful movements a sight to see,
As it flaunts its plumage, wild and free,
In a world of color, it reigns supreme,
The peacock, a sight beyond our dreams.
So let us marvel at this wondrous bird,
With plumes so rich, so bright, so absurd,
For in its beauty, we are all assured,
That nature's wonders are the best reward.
