The greatest gift God gave to a man is a woman.
Someone that is not only a help mate, but also a mother, friend, lover, teacher and does all these things like her name is superwoman.
She loves unconditionally no matter what the circumstances come her way.
She is opinionative, bold, and commands your attention whenever she has something important to say.
She is an inspiration to everyone that is around her or anybody that comes into her life.
She is amazing and more than a woman and so much more than just a wife.
She is focused on her dreams and always keeps going, but never loses sight.
She is misunderstood and even if I could, as a man I would never be able to understand her.
She is beautiful, creative, wonderful, and a lovely creature.
So who is this woman that is so dope and inspiring to me?
Her name is known other than the intelligent, independent, graceful, and Afro-conic queen Mahogany.

Day 4 of Quitting
If this is how sobriety feels, maybe it’s better to go through life a little buzzed… this, along with other hits like, I want to kill myself, I wish I was dead, and I’m going to throw myself off a bridge have been the only thoughts on rotation these past few days. I promise myself that if, in a month, I still feel like this (‘this’ meaning despondent, full of rage, and simultaneously numb) I can go back to smoking. Until mid-February though? Nicotine is off the table.
