Magnolia

as fresh ginger

By Krystyna KwiatkowskaPublished 8 months ago 1 min read

Her petals fair and pink

like the blushing cheek of a lover.

Whispering loving words with a gentle wink.

The birds chirp and sing

as the band to a slow-paced waltz.

Lifting your spirits like champagne with a zing.

Her bloom citrus and sweet

like the mix of homebrew lemon & honey tea.

Lingering on your tongue as an everlasting treat.

The flower spicy and warm

as fresh ginger cut on a wooden board.

Staining your fingertips from its natural form.

Her curves pale and soft

like the flow of a morning coastal wave.

Washing over you with the sea breeze waft.

Sweet Magnolia, Sweet Magnolia

what is a more perfect beauty than this?
