A Poem

I’m a superposition magician

Filled with superstition

A mitochondric pandemic of faith fueled chaos

Cross faded into fatal futility

Of a world enraptured in itself

Egonomics fueling extinction

I’m everywhere and nowhere at once

Pulling my hand from the box

Animals all

No one talks to me

Because I’m divorced from their reality

Forever looking at the far side of the mirror

The world grows queerer

As the end draws nearer

Nicely done, Eric! I especially like the line about looking at the far side of the mirror, like instead of looking directly at myself.

What inspired you to write "animals all"? I really liked your word choices in this poem
