Lying Under the Hospital Blue
Poem entry for Moleskine
By Jessica GilliesPublished 5 years ago • 1 min read

Not just in limbo about this
Thought I was ready
You’re too old to be feeling that way
Shoulder to cry on but pulling away
Stomach ache starts to seep in
Moving in motions but it still feels the same
Future plans have been taken away
Anyone know what day it is?
My hair floating behind me
On your bike, the m8
A 14 year old Harley
That number needs to stop
Popping up
Ibrox flat
wooden chip shop fork
Ornate silver spoon
We knew we would never fit
Lying under the hospital blue
