Luna

Alone Again

By Erica (Joyce) ThompsonPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

Left. Right.

Right. Left.

Right. Right.. Right Again.

“My Mind Is Spinning”.

I Can’t Remember.

Lost In Thoughts Of A False Reality.

What Was Going To Happen Next?

I Am Alone.

And I Am Not Exact On What To Do.

“Just Keep Walking”

“You’ll Find Your Next Move”

I Stumble Upon A Gold Mine Of Peace.

It’s The Ocean.

Standing By The Railing With A Hallow Soul.

“I Am Empty”

The Clouds Change With The Beautiful Melody Of The Crashing Tides.

Though, It Was For A Moment,

I Felt Complete For The First Time.

And As Quickly The Night Came,

I Remembered What It Was Like To Chase The Sun.

Stumbling Over My Own Feet.

Choking On My Own Thoughts.

“I Am Lost Again”.

Clouded By Darkness,

Consumed By The Cold.

I Look Up In Admiration,

As The Moon Seemed To Be My Only Friend.

Warmed With This Unfamiliar Feeling.

“I Will Not Be Dying Alone”.

And As I Fall Into The Earth,

I Was Flooded With Dreams.

“Luna, Won’t You Watch Me Touch The Floor Of The Sea”

surreal poetry
