Stormy skies,
Distant lies,
Sad goodbyes,
The reasons why,
Love is love and why it exists.
I say it's hard,
They say it's easy.
Life and Love;
Both need work.
Both need worth.
But what of time?
The right person in the wrong time,
may seem worse than they truly are.
Under duress, suffocated by stress, a glorified mess!
Our paths are not always the same,
even the river parts to meet again.
And oh how I love the effort,
but dismay at the disappointments.
Perfection unattained with the purist intention is always valued.
Those disappointments melt away,
in your arms,
I'll forever stay.
