An ode to self love
Love yourself. Put nothing of lesser value above yourself.
Make sure your acts of good are done to self.
You have unique aura. No one can hurt it.
Every now and again you have to remember you’re worth it.
Be gentle with your reflection. Give your heart protection.
Nothing wrong with filling yourself with love and affection.
Remind yourself that you’re a reason to smile.
Every breath you take is making life worth while.
Every detail of good in you is too long to list.
If you passed away today you’d surely be missed.
When you get up in the morning give yourself all praise.
Never forget to love yourself always.

We all need a reminder that self love is not selfish. It is simply beginning at the base to construct a worthwhile life. We cannot truly love others Until we learn to love ourselves. Awesome poem!
