Love scribbles

Like a seed planted in Earth’s soil

You nourished me with your water

Stretching my branches into the sun's light, until

I became the fire that burned every tree

In a world that spins under a beam of moon and stars

I asked you to get lost in the blowing wind and rains

And when your sky filled with stormy blue and clouds, I said

Fade into me, and I will be your light

If all the buildings crumble down around us

If wars break out in every corner of every country

If all we can do is run for our lives, know

I am the stone that stands against the storm

With each smile we give, let our faces be brighter

With each kiss we press, let our lips linger

With each touch we feel, let our butterflies flutter

In a sky of a thousand birds, soar on the wings of love

When our tomorrows and some days

Become sunrises and sunsets, stay with me

In the glow of our yesterdays and long agos

Memories are etched in the lines of this canvas

When the curtains fall, on our closing show
