Love's Why do you refuse to accept me?
A Journey Through Joy and Pain
By TauroiPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

Love, your smile is a beacon of light
Guiding me through the darkest night
I'll save you, my dear, from all your fears
But behind all smiles, there may be tears
Like melted white cheeses, our love is soft
But it's your fault, it's a robbery, that it was lost
Perhaps it was my fault, that it faded away
But it's your fault, that I swam in a sea of dismay
A woman's heart is not made of flesh alone
It can be as hard as a stone wall, unyielding and strong
But my eyes sing poetry, and my hands speak love
Can we bear the weight of this truth, my dove?
Everything may feel like a lie, my darling
But let's hold on tight, and keep marching
For if we can weather the storm of love's pain
We'll find a love that will forever remain.
