Love's betrayal is a bitter pill to swallow,

A wound that cuts deep, a pain that's hard to follow,

For I loved you with all my heart and soul,

But you left me alone, with a heart that's cold.

The promises we made, the dreams we shared,

Are now shattered, they left me scared,

For I gave you my all, my heart, my trust,

But you took it all and left me in the dust.

The nights are long, the days are dark,

A constant reminder of a love that's stark,

For you were the light that guided me through,

But now I'm lost, with no clue.

I try to move on, to forget the past,

But the memories of you, they seem to last,

A love that once was, now it's no more,

Leaving me heartbroken, to pick up the pieces and restore.

Love's betrayal is a harsh lesson to learn,

A wound that's deep, a scar that may never turn,

But I'll pick up the pieces and move along,

For my heart will heal, and my spirit will be strong.
