Love Rescued Me
Holding Out Hope

I remember our first meeting at a dance
I was single and that’s always been my stance
But you giggled when you talked
And you wiggled when you walked
So I knew that night I didn’t stand a chance
You came sailing by and found me lost at sea
Like a ship divinely sent to rescue me
It was dark inside my prison
But my sun had finally risen
And although my cell was locked you had the key
