Love Rain

Showers coming

Soft wet and sensual every delicious drop.

Soothing healing tapestry,

please don’t ever stop.

With every touch

I feel so much of why I’m one with you.

Consecrated heaven-sent mystic maker of morning dew.

Sweet, sweet rain

my deep, deep pain has found comfort in your arms.

I’ve sighed and cried and lost myself inside your treasured charms.

Whether hard and fast to sting my cheeks or gentle as a dove,

the bond which connects both you and I is centuries soaked in love.

Bless me now from head to foot and cleanse the folly of my ways.

Release me from this raging fire that devours my nights and days.

Gentle rain,

please make it plain just where my heart should be,

then drive my spirit to follow suit

so my soul can, at last feel free.

And I will dance.

Dance with nature’s trees of green.

Dance ‘til night herself becomes unseen.

Dance ‘til like the moon I glow.

Dance with the knowledge you too will know.

Holy rain is of a truth, celestial seed falling to the earth.

Let fall unhindered

on your fertile soul

and discover your own true worth.

Well, hopefully you already know my thoughts. But truly there aren't words. This resonates so deep in my soul it feels like the rain itself. Beautiful <3
