Empty Love

Empty Love

In the stillness of the night we met,

Under the moon's silver glow,

Whispers of dreams and promises,

In a world only we would know.

Your touch, a fleeting shadow,

Your smile, a distant star,

We danced in the realm of echoes,

Yet never knew who we are.

Words of love, so softly spoken,

Faded into the air,

Eyes that once held the universe,

Now gaze with empty stare.

Time wove its silent tapestry,

Of moments lost and gone,

We walked on paths of illusions,

Beneath the breaking dawn.

Hearts once filled with passion,

Now echo hollow and cold,

A story of love unspoken,

A tale that’s grown too old.

In the garden of our memories,

Where once the roses bloomed,

Now lies a bed of silence,

In the shadows of the tomb.

Yet in this empty love we find,

A lesson in the pain,

That sometimes love's sweet whisper,

Is lost in the falling rain.
