Winter's Murmur: A Story of Tranquility and Tepid Love

In winter's hush, a longing to adorn,

Yet my dwelling gleams, ever cleaner, ever forlorn.

Plain walls echo the silence profound,

A canvas untouched, where tranquility is found.

Glass chimes sway, a delicate array,

Hung near the hearth, where warmth holds sway.

They tinkle gently when the heat unfurls,

A melody soft, in winter's quiet swirls.

I yearn to drink from cups of steaming glee,

But patience waned, and my tea grew tepid, you see.

Not the hot embrace I had in mind,

Just a lukewarm solace, a love confined.

Each corner of my abode, a pristine scene,

A sanctuary of simplicity, where echoes convene.

In the stillness, a whispered love takes flight,

Adorning the silence, in winter's tender light.
