Love shows restraint toward a daily existence

That brings its portion of torment.

We know at some point there is an end

To the most obstinate downpour.

We realize the sun comes out once more

On a world that is new and new,

And every one of the gifts we uninhibitedly give

Some place, at some point accumulate.

We know now and again we need to stand by

For life to come around,

What's more, once in a while that it will not, yet at the same time

There's a decent to be found.

What's more, in any event, when that's what things happen

Your spirit can scarcely bear,

Realize that I'll be close to you;

My affection is consistently there.
